For new and existing artists

A couple of points for new and existing artists to bare in mindWe've noticed that some artists are not uploading profile images "avatars", this is required to be included into the site listings and search system. Why you ask? By uploading your profile image this shows us "and others" that you are a dedicated artist with the intention of presenting your portfoilo and works here professionaly.Profile Image + Views + Exposure = More Freelance Work and More Sales!-A lot of freelance artists have been contacting us asking to simply view their websites "without creating a profile here at Illustration.net". And we've seen some outstanding work! Unfortunately, to be included for freelance work, a sample of your portfolio "digital or original" must be uploaded so that buyers can view your work first hand with inclusion into our job quotation system - signup and get those files uploaded people..-ThanksThe Illustration Team

Site updates

A few updates to the site and a couple more ideas which are in motion at the moment. Affiliate System: We're still busy bolting on Michaels affiliate system at the moment, Michael has done an amazing job on this and in such a short time too - kudos to Michael! With a bit more integration the system should be fully operational in the next week - for those who are interested in promotion and affiliation, here's more on the Affiliate System. Virtual Wall:The idea is to upload "from a phone or camera" an image of a wall or at least an area where people would locate a piece of art in their homes or offices. Users must first select Digital or Original Art from the site, click on the V "Virtual Wall" which navigates to this page, where background images can be uploaded. A great addition to the site and a nice facility for private buyers and interior designers to visualize artwork prior to purchasing.Flickr Integration: Also in the running at the moment is a Flickr module using the API to post weekly updates of all new media/art uploaded to the site. The automation of presenting everyones art on Flickr is a much required function - watch this space! Twitter Integration: Fairly straight forward module to interface sitewide blogs and updates on the Illustration Twitter account.ThanksThe Illustration Team
