Biography

My job as a cartoonist and illustrator operating in two oceans. The first work to various publishers of children's texts and children's educational magazines such as La Cadena TRICOLOR for which invented its main characters and a column to teach drawing. And the second illustrations and cartoons for various newspapers and magazines in Venezuela and outside my country.

I have given lectures, workshops and courses at the Pedagogical Institute of Aruba (IPA), University of Aruba, Access Gallery, National Library of Aruba and Toyota. March 2007, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Chat counselor for students 4th and 5th year of high school. My work as an illustrator is sometimes complemented or battle between art pure and simple and concrete and illustrative properly. As the center of my work is drawing, fine line drawing, sometimes speedy, other more thoughtful construction and overlapping of lines.
I like to deal with the detail and the value of the line as part of my visual speech.
My journey starts from the realistic drawing to go simpler and give more and more space and importance to color and other resources such as collage or the intervention of either a photograph or an illustration of its own.
