Born in Bowdon, Cheshire in 1959, Lindi is an established artist with board artistic skills and a proud member of The Association of Erotic Artists which give the public an assurance of quality. Her passion of figurative work is tastefully provocative and sensual; the land/seascapes are vibrant and atmospheric; all executed in her specialism of dry-brush acrylic, using no water.
Lindi has been recognised for her very unique style of sophisticated erotica illustrations consisting of “genitalia, in nature, using pointillism”. These delicate paintings, executed in 0.1 and 0.2 fine-line Pilot pen are infectiously collectable to the erotica audience because of their edgy, earthy, back to nature quirkiness, but above all, they are different and bring a sense of fascination and a smile to the onlooker. Her confident uses of lines and dots create a sense of depth, shape, tone and distortion to her compositions.
Humour, descriptive language and titles play an equal part in what Lindi wants to portray in her art; a great deal of the pointillism work is deliberately rotational or is worthy of being tilted in order to find something else, from a flaccid penis tree root to a strong erect trunk; with plump fleshy vulvas to leaf-like pubic mounds; voluptuous breasts and torsos within branches surrounded by sperm-like grasses within the land.
Lindi’s artistic muse is to provoke the viewer enough to lose themselves in what they see and perhaps ‘question’ what they observe in the work.
“THERE’S A POINT TO EVERYTHING - Look and you will find!”
Her paintings are published with Dorling Kindersley, Erotic Review; and numerous newspapers/magazines; she has featured on TV and radio and has exhibited in many galleries selling to both private and corporate bodies – eg: Theo Paphitis of Dragon’s Den.
Lindi devotes time to commission enquiries and much of the work is available as signed limited edition giclée prints (archival quality - Ltd to 100). Do ask for details.
