Elena Spaziani, Italian, was born in 1981 and since she was a child she loves
to draw. Unfortunately she had the bad idea to study Sociology instead to
attend Arts Academy....but after her final dissertation (on "The symbolism of
death in Fairytales") and degree, she decided to follow her passion.She
attended the three years professional course of Illustration at the
International School of Comics, in Rome, and then she started also to explore
the complex, fascinating, world of graphic design.
Elena Spaziani loves to draw for children book, but she also like to create
unsettling artworks, chasing to catch the scent of unconscious. She has
collaborated with Bardi Editore and with the graphic laboratory Puntoit, and
she recently won the "Mind the difference" illustration contest.
At the moment Elena lives and works in Berlin.
