Biography

Andrea Gatti's formative path is divided between technical and creative fields.
In 1989 achieved electrotechnical diploma at the E. Agnelli institute in Turin.
In 1995 acheived illustration degree at the IED, European Institute of Design in Turin.
Over the years, his tools gradually shift from traditional (pencils, crayons, markers, acrylics and watercolors) to digital, with particular attention to the most advanced photo editing, photorestoration, photomontage and digital painting.
Since 2005 he works only in digital, vector and bitmap above all.
Of his eclectic artworks production, particularly famous and appreciated is the series of underwater landscapes, where monuments, urban views and cities are depicted overwhelm by the sea.
After worked in a information technology firm for ten years, now focuses on graphics, illustration and painting.
Born June 13, 1970, lives and works in Turin.
