What percentage of artist sales do you take?
We retain a flat rate of:
- 30% on Digital Art downloads.
- 20% on Original Art sales.
- 20% for commissioned work via our Get a Quote system.
Are there any subscription charges?
There are no subscription charges for artists or buyers.
As an artist how do I list my Original Art?

Do you purchase Art?
Yes, we sometimes purchase Original Art for our own inventory, contact us here for more information.
How does the Multifile Uploader work?
After uploading your images using the Multifile Uploader, the images will be available from a drop down menu located bellow the main image upload in your create Digital and Original Art pages.
What is Digital Art?
Digital Art files are digital reproductions made available by artists for multiple sales based on a "non-commercial" or "commercial" license. Digital files are available for purchase via instant download.

What file resolutions are available?
To make our buyers experience more transparent we've narrowed down digital sales to a single file, allowing one pricing per file. Artists are advised to upload at the highest resolution with pricing set at the artists discretion, the minimum is 1 dollar.
Which formats are available?
Compatible formats are PNG, JPEG, GIF or BMP although the preferred format is 32bit PNG. All formats and resolutions are identified automatically on file upload.
What can the artwork here be used for?
Along with site development and web marketing projects the art available here can be used for book and magazine publications including corp ID, in fact any medium which requires suitable art or illustration.
Some clients may have more interests in commissioning artists for professional work, in view of this and to further assist we've introduced the Get a Quote system which is available from every artists portfolio page.
Why do my uploaded files require approval?
We approve all uploads from new artists initially to single out abusive or inappropriate content, we also review art from new artists so that our quality standards are upheld.
Original Art
What is termed as Original Art?
We term Original Art as the first "initial" art prepared for reproduction.
What is accepted as Original Art?
We accept paintings and illustrations in all mediums, including sculptures of any size as long as delivery can be assured by the artist.
We do not accept reproductions or prints.
Original Art, how does it work?
The total sale price "inc delivery" from an Original Art sale is paid directly into our Escrow account, the artists is then notified of the buyers details for the delivery.
After the byer receives the art, the total payment "less our commission" is then paid directly to the artist. To further understand the process of Original Art sales please

How does the Get a Quote system work?
After negotiating the final price and the work is completed, clients are invoiced and the total "less our commission" is paid directly to the artist.
